Testimonials for Care Home Perth

Testimonials

Below is a selection of comments received from residents and relatives.

There is no feeling of being in an institution here - entirely domestic, a home, but you know there are specific services, trained nurses and carers, staff with special skills. There are no hierarchies, no lists, few notices, no instructions. The staff make a big difference by their caring attitude and they listen to you. Relatives can come and go - there is no formality or restrictions.

Mrs Helen Nicolson (Resident)

Thank you very much for all the care, kindness and friendship you all gave to my brother over the last two and a half years. If he couldn't be in his home, viewlands was the best thing for him and I know he was happy there. He enjoyed your jokes and smiles and the outings.

Sheila Starling (Relative)

Thank you for all your dedicated, heartfelt and practical support, for your energy, humour and source of lovely stories that bring homeliness into the home.

Kirsty Leishman (Relative)

We're very happy with the care our Mum gets. The staff are always kind and show a caring attitude. They continue to be approachable, cooperative and proactive, taking into consideration our feelings and opinions on what is best for Mum's care.

The summer house provision has also been a welcome addition which has enabled Mum to go outside and enjoy the garden and a wee walk.

The food is always very good and the choice is good. Brian and the kitchen staff do a great job

Dear Everyone at Viewlands

I cannot begin to thank you all for looking after my Dad so well. the care, kindness and attention you gave to him was absolutely first class and amazing. Each and everyone of you are stars, you are so efficient, attentive professional and approachable. I never once left him worrying about him as I knew you all treated him so well. You are like one big happy family.

To all staff and volunteers at Viewlands House

I felt I had to put pen to paper to thank you and your staff for the extraordinary care provided to my mother......When I first visited Viewlands in 2011, I immediately felt that this was the place to which my mother would ultimately move...my mother's decision to come to Viewlands House was made in 2012 and Viewlands then became for me my second home!.... the good natured banter with the staff, the warmth and sense of genuine care was always there and I and my brothers could rest assured that our mother was in good hands.

Please continue to provide your wonderful care and support to residents and relatives

Thank you

The outing over the summer have been enjoyed by all who were able to go...Thanks to the Friends of Viewlands for the trolley service, friendly visits, the coffee mornings and afternoon teas, all so greatly enjoyed...The new look of the house has been greatly admired, it is hard to picture how it looked before...

I would like to say a big thank you for the quality of care my father is receiving at Viewlands House.. The establishment is like a Country House hotel but has the feel of a home..the staff are so caring and nothing is too much of a bother...
